Project Homeless Connect/Point in Time Count
HELP OUR NEIGHBORS WHO ARE EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS
Interfaith Neighbors is leading the planning and implementation for the Asbury Park area to collect items for the 2019 Project Homeless Connect & Point in Time Annual Count.
The project provides, food, clothing, health services and hospitality to our neighbors experiencing homelessness across the county on January 23, 2019.
We are looking for the following items to be included in our essential kits
which will be distributed to the homeless on January 23,2019.
- Ready to eat foods
- Gloves (may be gently used)
- Granola Bars
- Date Books
- Hand Warmers
- Nail Cutters
- Water Bottles
- Coats (may be gently used)
- Postage Stamps
- Coupons/Gift Cards
- Bags (i.e. reusable grocery bags)
Donations accepted through January 22, 2019.
Items may be dropped off at Interfaith Neighbors at 810 Fourth Avenue, Asbury Park, NJ.
There are also volunteer opportunities for the day of the event.
