You cannot hold a torch
to light another’s path without brightening your
own.

Our Mission
Our mission as stated in our By-Laws, is to provide rental subsidy to underprivileged persons; to provide meals either in a congregate setting or delivered to the homes of people who are either elderly poor (senior citizen), infirm or seriously ill persons or those who are classified as impoverished; to encourage support and undertake construction and rehabilitation of affordable housing units and other facilities for underprivileged and homeless persons with low incomes and generally to support the needs of underprivileged persons.
Who We Are
Interfaith Neighbors, Inc. is a non-profit New Jersey
Corporation founded in May 1988. Our supporting members
number over 90 religious congregations of all denominations
plus hundreds of private donors as well as corporations,
charitable gift trusts and foundations.
We are located at 810 Fourth Avenue, Asbury Park, N.J. 07712. This location is a newly renovated (by us!) building consisting of 9,500 square feet with a state of the art commercial kitchen for the meal program. The building also houses the agency’s administrative staff for all programs as well as the newly renovated classroom/training space complete with computers for the Youth Corp Program.
